Inspired by Capri and the Italian Riviera, the Almond modern living room covered here is dominated by white and light shades. The gallery shows Belmont sofas, Antonella armchairs, poufs, consoles and the Almond sofa tables. Above are three current pieces that suit the same light palette.
Keeping the palette light
An Almond-style room works when white and pale shades cover most surfaces and metal adds the accents. Upholstery stays light, and darker notes come from iron and marble. The Shanghai Sofa by Cantori fits this brief, with a vertical iron element whose facets are hammered by hand. Designed by Maurizio Manzoni, it comes in 225 or 270 cm. The padding is high-density expanded polyurethane foam with a highly resilient top layer. In the gallery, the Axel cabinet and the Cody dining table with Anacapri chairs follow the same light hand.
An armchair with feather cushions
The Riolite Armchair by Epoque, from the Exence collection, arrives with two piped feather scatter cushions. Its seat is foam. In pale fabric, it sits easily beside poufs and a light sofa. Find more room groupings under high end living room furniture.
A console in Orobico marble
The Ulisse Console Table by Cantori pairs a Grey Orobico arabesque marble top with two spiral supports in solid sheet metal, lacquered New Cognac. A structural crossbeam carries the top. It measures H 85 x W 180 x D 53 cm; screen-printed glass, wood or ceramic tops are alternatives. For a matching piece by the bed, see the designer bedside table range.
