Capitonné and leaf on the George Armchair
The George Armchair by Cantori carries Richmond's taste for tailored upholstery and precious detail. Its back is capitonné, starting from behind the curve of the backrest, and its die-cast aluminium feet are polished and decorated by hand in silver, gold or champagne leaf. At H 78 x W 121 x D 96 cm it is a wide chair, with a removable seat cushion.
A sofa whose backrests stay in place
The Raggio Sofa by Dall'Agnese keeps its shape through a simple device: sand pockets inside the high-density foam backrests hold them in position. The seat is three pieces of expanded polyurethane foam in differentiated densities with a velvet coating. In the fabric version the covers are removable.
