This page covers modern dining tables and the pieces around them, with a gallery of table models such as Mirage, Prisma, Milos and Milton. Three current pieces show the choices in practice: an extendable walnut or marble table, a quilted chair and a glass-door sideboard.
Walnut or marble on top
Francesco Pasi's Icon Extendable Rectangular Table takes a top in Canaletto walnut or in marble. The marble options are Botticino, Emperador, Nero Marquina/Grey Stone and Bianco Carrara.
Walnut warms a room with pale walls; Bianco Carrara or Botticino reflects more light. Glass is the third route, and a glass dining table keeps a small room open.
Quilted chairs on a steel frame
Cantori's Jackie Dining Chair sits on a steel frame. Its seat combines a bent wood frame, memory foam padding and vertical quilting.
Quilting adds texture without pattern, so the chair works with both a veined marble top and plain walnut. The gallery below adds more table shapes to compare, among them the Atlante, Iron, Rodin, Teseo and Romeo models.
A sideboard behind glass
Dall'Agnese fits the Glass Up Sideboard with black aluminium door frames holding 4 mm glass in transparent, grey or bronze. It comes in depths of 46.3 or 55.9 cm, and the shallow version can hang on the wall.
Bronze glass softens the contents; transparent glass shows them in full. Pieces in the same register for other rooms are grouped under italian contemporary furniture.
