This article covers the Aqva classic living room: a three-seater sofa, armchairs, a two-door showcase with a dome and metal columns, and an octagonal wood table with a glass top. Current Francesco Pasi pieces then show how to plan a room with the same formal structure and carved detail.
What pieces define the Aqva room?
A domed showcase and an octagonal centre table define it. The photographs below show the Aqva collection, including the AQ018 two-door showcase with dome, metal columns and details, and the AQ074 octagonal table in wood with a glass top and metal decoration. The AQ073 three-seater sofa and AQ071 armchair complete the set.
How do you choose upholstery for classic armchairs?
Choose fabric for softness and leather where a chair sees heavy daily use. The Gran Guardia Armchair 2110 by Francesco Pasi takes fabric of category A, B or C, or leather, on a frame carved by hand in solid cherry. Pair two with the Gran Guardia Sofa with 6 Cushions by Francesco Pasi, whose real gold or silver leaf details are applied by hand. Compare each designer sofa by width before ordering.
Why add a marble-topped console?
A console gives a formal room a second focal point away from the seating. The Opera Console with Marble Top by Francesco Pasi measures H 84 x W 130 x D 42 cm, slim enough to stand behind a sofa, and its uprights are solid wood, 80 mm, with carving finished by hand. For whole rooms, see our high end living room furniture.
