This page covers new modern design for hotel rooms, where each piece is tailored through its finish and top. It sets out three current Italian pieces for a guest room: a solid wood bed, a tall chest in curved plywood and a nightstand on a metal base, with the options you can specify.
Tailoring a modern room to the hotel brief
A modern hotel room is tailored through finishes and tops rather than one fixed set. Each piece here lets you pick the surface that suits the brief. The Ocean Arched Bed by Francesco Pasi, in the wood frame version with smooth legs, comes lacquered in Butter, Pearl or White, in Luxury Hazelnut, or in 100 Gloss Ebony, Ivory, Dove Grey or White. Wider choices sit in our fine italian furniture catalogue.
Curved plywood, stoneware and metal
The Settanta Tall Chest by Dall'Agnese, designed by Imago, has a curved plywood structure 20 mm thick, with feet built into the side panels. At H 113.5 x W 56 x D 42.5 cm, it adds drawer space on a narrow wall, and its top can be wood, 6 mm stoneware or a 25 mm lacquered tray. The Katana Nightstand by Dall'Agnese, designed by Signorotto+Partners, stands on an epoxy powder-coated metal base 150 mm high, offered in two designs. Suites can add exclusive furniture for the living area.
Past and present in one room
A modern hotel room can borrow one classic form and still read as current. Here the Ocean Arched Bed supplies the arched outline on an 80 mm solid wood structure, while the Dall'Agnese pieces stay strictly contemporary in curved plywood and powder-coated metal. The collection this page first described was built on that same play of lines between past and present, with tailor-made pieces for each project.
Frequently Asked Questions
What tops can the Settanta Tall Chest have?
On the standard version: wood 12 mm, stoneware 6 mm, or a 25 mm tray in lacquered medium-density panel.
Who designed the Katana Nightstand?
Signorotto+Partners designed it for Dall'Agnese. Its top is wood 8 mm or stoneware 6 mm, and the stoneware slabs are cut at random so no two match.
How long does delivery take for a hotel project?
